Jérôme MARTIN received his PhD from the University of Lorraine (France) in 2009. His initial research focused on the epitaxial growth of wide bandgap semiconductor nanostructures and their structural/optical characterization. He is now an assistant professor at UTT since 2012. His current research focuses on new materials for plasmonics and their application to UV photonics. He develops methods for the fabrication of aluminium nanostructures sustaining high quality plasmonic resonances in the ultraviolet and their coupling with wide bandgap semiconductors.
